I am humbled to have been elected as your Member of Parliament.

I will be building the partnerships that will take our town forward and making the case for Rochdale as a great place to live, work and raise your family.

A different kind of politics

The support you have given me is a clear mandate to deliver a different kind of politics of decency, values and hope. The hard work starts now. I will fight for the people of Rochdale – for schools, health services, social services, skilled jobs and apprenticeships.

Rochdale is the birthplace of co-operation and I believe that together we can bring about the positive, lasting change we all want to see. We will put hope back into this town, and tell the story that isn’t being told at the moment; a proud people, a proud Rochdale.
